Almoner

My name is Dave Claughton, l became a Member of Honor Oak Lodge in 2002 and have loved every minute since then!! I was Master in 2011/12 and 2012/13. I have held the offices of Chaplain and of Almoner since then. I try and be as involved as l can but work often runs over and spoils my plans. I joined a second Lodge in London and am in Chapter and Rose Croix. I am also bear a slight resemblence to a noteable figure in this world and l have proudly raised  a good deal of money for childrens charities over the years.

Personally – l was born in Sidcup, spent my first years in Japan and had filled my BOAC Junior Pilots book by the time l was 16!! I lost my first wife in 2001 but have two children from that marriage. I remarried in 2008 and between us we have four children and, at the time of writing, have five wonderful Grandchildren. I am currently a Domestic Ventilation Engineer but, l was a Director of Buckmore Park Kart Circuit from 1987 to 2001. I live in Hoo, Rochester
