My name is Steve Cronin and I was introduced into Freemasonry by my brother- in- law when I was 48. He owned “The Crown” pub in Buntingford, Hertfordshire and so I was initiated into Layston Lodge No 6699 on 26th January 2002. Which is why most of my freemasonry is in Hertfordshire.
My good friend and work colleague Graham Starkey invited me to a meeting at Honor Oak Lodge shortly after he became a joining member as it was local to both of us. I was so struck by the enthusiasm and vibrancy of the Lodge that in xxxx I too became a joining member.
In 2017 I became Charity Steward of this fantastic Lodge. The Lodge is very keen to support local charities as well as national ones, and during my time as Charity Steward has donated to more 20 different Charities. These include;
